My vampire book collection so far. There should be two more, one someone stole from me and the one I lent to my uncle. Anyway, I thought I had more.

[Patch <3]

Last night I finished reading the saga. Gosh, I can’t wait for the war that’s about to get unleashed on ‘Finale’.
I’m on the fallen angels team.

Just noticed that the bookmarks of the two books I’m currently reading are exactly at page 113. Life coincidences.

That guy Patch is so…mysterious, I’d also wanna be around even when he’s dangerous like a criminal.

Can’t put this book down.

Can’t contain my excitement.

I know I can make it :)

Unpopular opinion, surely.

Well, being myself an atheist, I consider the Heaven & Hell part interesting but it is too freaking long! That’s why it ended up making the book tiring, boring and repetitive about the religious subject. With a summary of the Heaven part would’ve been enough, and if it were told by Lestat instead of Memnoch it would’ve been much better. I also would’ve wanted Anne had involved Louis/Armand more in the story since they both believe about the salvation of theirs souls.

However, I liked the first third of the story -the chasing of Lestat’s victim, Roger. Lestat’s fear of that constant evil presence haunting him. Not sure about Dora- and I don’t think the ending is bad, a bit surprising in my opinion, and it was a good decision to at least mention other known vampires in the story.

* SPOILER *

I’m glad to know we got Lestat in one piece again. I couldn’t picture him as a one-eyed vampire BUT I’m disappointing about his decision of not drinking blood/hurting a human being again. WTF. And the death of Armand, that was sad, although since I haven’t read the next books, he might be alive (?).

Books say: She did this because. Life says: She did this. Books are where things are explained to you; life is where things aren’t. I’m not surprised some people prefer books.
